One faculty position opening

(1) Area of Research: Any field, Applied Economics is preferred.

The Department of Economics of the College of Social Sciences seeks to hire a faculty member in the field of applied economics at all ranks. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in economics or a related discipline, with demonstrated excellence in scholarship. We are interested in applicants who specialize in energy economics and resource economics and will chart the future research and teaching on sustainable energy with fresh ideas. Successful applicants will collaborate with the University to promote the Shalun Innovation Alliance, which pursuits the sustainable development goals of circular economy and renewable energy, in the Tainan city. Applicants must demonstrate their ability to use English as a medium of instruction (EMI) and have a good command of Mandarin. We strongly encourage the successful applicant, upon assumption of duty, to obtain the certificate in EMI Skills from the University.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to give a job talk. 專    長﹕  1、不限，但優先考量應用經濟學領域。

        2、配合成功大學推動「沙崙智慧產業創新聯盟」，在追求循環經濟及減碳綠能的永續發展目標下，本系鼓勵能源經濟學及資源經濟學之學者提出申請。

            3、須能配合本校雙語大學計畫，取得校內EMI教師認證，並以EMI授課。

職    級﹕  助理教授以上專任教師1名。

起聘日期﹕  111年8月1日。
